Super Titan Aligns Aerospace Fixture

Project Challenge
Engineered Handling Systems who specializes in providing equipment to the aerospace industry brought us a project for Collins Aerospace. Collins Aerospace provides solutions to commercial and business aviation. As part of their assembly process, they needed a heavy-duty lift that will integrate with other equipment. The lift will be mounted to a transport with the fixture on top of the lift platform, and then aligned with the other equipment.
Our Solution
Due to the weight requirements of the fixture that will put on the lift, our engineering team wanted to ensure we provided a solution that endured the tasks being performed. We recommend a lift from our most powerful, durable product line, Super Titan. This high-capacity lift is rated to meet a maximum weight and lifting capacity of 29,000 lbs. The platform is fabricated with smooth steel to support the fixture and the lift is equipped with a 10 HP continues run power unit to meet the demands of the active assembly process.
