Project Challenge
Railroad Company TTX needed a small portable lift with the ability to move around their shop so they can safely remove the heavy draft gear from the rail road cars as needed during maintenance.
Our Solution
Autoquip provided an economical solution in the selection of the Titan family lift that utilizes the design strengths of this family for capacity and stability and portability. Specifications include: Titan Portable Draft-Gear Lift, 24” x 48” platform, 30” travel, self-contained air motor power, manual lever type air valve, large 6″ diameter wheel and dolly set, paint – coated in standard RAL-9005 jet black. Sold directly to TTX for their maintenance facility in Jacksonville, FL. TTX Company is North America’s leading provider of railcars and related freight car management services to the North American rail industry.
The Results
