Hydraulic Freight Lift Transports Production Equipment
Introduction
Hydraulic Freight Lift transports production equipment between floors at the new Global Learning Center at Oral Roberts University.
Project Challenge
The new state-of-the-art Global Learning Center at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma includes three stories with classrooms, studios, offices and conference rooms on each floor. The third floor has a new, multi-purpose production studio with high-tech facilities designed to produce video content. As part of the new construction, building plans included a freight lift to move production and classroom equipment between levels.
Our Solution
Autoquip provided the new facility with a hydraulic freight lift designed to travel 25 feet. The platform measures 84”X120” with a 10 foot load height for tall loads. Also includes a surface mounted ramp to roll equipment on and off the platform with ease.
The Results
To transport all the production and classroom equipment between the three stories at the new Global Center, Autoquip was able design a fairly standard freight lift that could handle multiple uses and heavy-duty loads.
