Massive Work Platform Lift for Jet Engine Inspection

Quad Work Platform Lift – 32 feet long to access jet engine for inspection and repair.

Leading aerospace manufacturer wanted a lift system that could take their inspection crew and all their equipment up to the jet engine for inspection and repair.  They needed a lift that would span the size of the engine to provide safe access to all areas.

To meet the requirements, Autoquip designed a massive work platform lift that was made up of (4) extra wide-double long platforms measuring 32 feet long. The unit is pit mounted with the platform measuring 226” x 394”.  The work platform is used to lift equipment and tools along with the inspection crew with a 10,000 capacity to a working height of 10 feet. The platform includes hose reels to connect oil/air and soap along with a drainage system to evacuate any spilled residue off the platform surface.  Many safety feature are included: explosion proof components, handrails and Slip Not surface.
