Specialty Scissor Lift on Transport Base with Adjustable V Deck for Paper-Loading Application.

A leading specialty paper company with a highly specific application required a custom design equipment to help transport large reams of paper and feed into their processing equipment. They wanted to automate this process as much as possible to improve manufacturing efficiency and to make the operator’s job easier.

Autoquip’s engineering team custom designed a Tork 1 Scissor Lift mounted to a transport base with a V deck platform. The lift equipment is controlled by a simple controls interface (mounted push button) to operate the lift, tilt and movement of the equipment. The ream of paper is loaded on one end by lowering “wing 1” of the V deck down, once the paper is loaded, wings up cradled in the V deck, it is then transported to the other end of the processing line. Once the lift equipment is aligned with their processing machine, the V deck wings are lowered simultaneously so the ream of paper can easily be fed into their machine.
